Dear EOA Members and TRIO Colleagues,

We’ve reached a critical moment for Talent Search and Educational Opportunity Center programs across the country. But the fight to save their programs must be one for which the entire TRIO community mobilizes. YOUR voice matters and the time for action is NOW.

We invite you to join EOA Leadership and the EOA Legislation & Education Committee for a time-sensitive townhall where we will share current concerns with the U.S. Department of Education’s Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the upcoming Talent Search and Educational Opportunity Centers competitions, explain what is at stake for our institutions, programs, communities, & students, and discuss how you can act to mobilize your community & participate in our upcoming EOA Advocacy Challenge!

EOA Advocacy Townhall
Monday, April 27
12:00 p.m. Central / 1:00 p.m. Eastern

President Burrough’s theme for this year is “Grounded in Opportunity, Growing in Impact.” This townhall is an opportunity to come together to ensure we collectively re-affirm EOA’s deep advocacy roots that created “Organized TRIO” so that our programs can continue to grow their impact in communities across the nation for decades to come. Now is the time to raise our collective voices – join us to learn how.

You must be logged in as a member to register. Non-members can initiate or renew membership via the Join EOA tab on the website. Membership questions should be directed to membership@eoa.org

In Advocacy & Service,

Kim Hildahl and Adam Cinderich

Co-Chairs, EOA Legislation and Education Committee
