According to a ten year study done by the O.C. Tanner group, 79% of people who quit their jobs cite “lack of appreciation” as their reason for leaving. As leaders, we have many considerations from brand strategy and marketing to customer service and fiscal responsibility. Our most important consideration, however, should be the internal brand. What is your company’s brand equity with its own people? If organizations look at the internal brand (its people) first, great things happen to the nucleus of the organization. These organically migrate outwards to create great organizations in totality. This course examines the chemistry of the brain and what it tells us about creating a strong internal brand. We address how leaders can increase retention, build trust, and establish diplomacy among team members.
